Flutist Jenna Daum, is an award- winning performer and teacher in the Phoenix metropolitan area.  Jenna has performed with many ensembles around the country including: The Phoenix Symphony, Paradise Winds, Scottsdale Arts Orchestra, Pierre Monteux School Orchestra (Hancock, Maine), the Brevard Music Center Orchestra (Brevard, NC), Arizona Repertory Orchestra,  and St. Louis Philharmonic.  Concerto performances include the Vivaldi Piccolo Concerto with the Scottsdale Baroque Orchestra, and the Kevin Ames Flute Concerto with the Scottsdale Musical Arts Contemporary Music Ensemble. As a soloist, Jenna has been the winner of the Mu Phi Epsilon Phoenix Chapter Solo Competition, Flute Society of St. Louis Competition, Mary Payne Solo Competition, and the prestigious Thomas Smith Competition at the University of Illinois. 

Jenna is greatly indebted to her teachers Elizabeth Buck, Jennifer Nitchman, and Jonathan Keeble. Currently, Jenna is the flute studio teaching assistant at Arizona State University while pursuing a Doctorate of Musical Arts, where she teaches lessons, flute methods class, scales and technique class, and is the Director of the Arizona State University Community Flute Ensemble.  

When not driving her cat Minka crazy with the endless sound of the flute and piccolo, Jenna enjoys gardening, bread baking, yoga, and any activity involving the outdoors.
